Víctor and Luis del Valle Piano duo

Splendid and masterful virtuosity, unprecedented risk, exceptional style become one in these two musicians […] One hears works of Mozart very few times in such a convincing way.
Stuttgarter Zeitung

Smashing, but not breaking, these wonderful artists respect style and technique but state clearly their own voice, young and bold, full of life and humour, expressive and highly musical.
La Provincia. Diario de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

We were ready for them. And they came with the expected success that goes with them [...] the wait to witness a full concert with them was worth it.

BR KLASSIK: CD - KLAVIERDUO DEL VALLE "IMPULSE"

CD - Piano Duo Del Valle

"Impulse"

No way to avoid this œuvre: Witold Lutosławski's Paganini variations are both mandatory and virtuoso freestyle. For each and every piano duo. But rarely will you find a recording ever so enthralling from the first note, as this actual CD from the Spanish piano duo Víctor and Luis del Valle
Their play is adventurous and risky, incredibly vital, with a perfectly balanced sound. ... The Paganini variations for two pianos are the foudroyant start, followed by Mozart's sonata in C major, and Ligeti's Five Pieces for piano - both for four hands -, to close with two more pieces for two pianos: Ravel's "La Valse", and a swinging fantasy on Gershwin's renowned opera "Porgy and Bess". With one or two pianos: Víctor and Luis del Valle convince us with orchestral impact and, likewise, with intimate and extremely sensitive piano periods.

Great precision.-

Obviously, here are two symbiotically aligned primal musicians, and virtuosi in the very best meaning! Maybe more than any other formation, piano duos depend on the finest precision. Even the slightest discrepancy or deferred impulses will not pass unnoticed. And all cuts and corrections during a CD production can by no means heal a lack of joint shaping of the music. Ideally, two autonomous personalities meld into one, as is the case with Víctor and Luis del Valle.

Excellent business card.-

"Impulse" is a project based on a clear communicative intention, according to the brothers' statement in their booklet. They want their debut album to become their "... ‘carte de visite' with which we can get through to the audiences and which clearly expresses who we are as artists. ..." And this is what they gloriously succeeded to deliver. With this programme, Víctor and Luis del Valle are presenting a cross-section of the representative and ample piano duo repertoire of the 18th through the 20th century. ... Whilst congratulating the musicians, we are looking forward to further thrillling projects and concerts with this piano duo.
