The Del Valle duo, from Malaga, presents 'Impulse', his first solo album, a journey through two centuries of piano music designed for two interpreters.
Native of Velez-Malaga, the brothers Victor and Luis del Valle carried out ten-year career together, which seem to follow the path of some large sets of brothers who made (and still make) of the two pianos the main field of their musical activity such as the historical Alfons and Alois Kontarsky or the very famous Katia and Marielle Labèque ...

-Yes of course. With the album we wanted to rescue somehow this piano duo formation that seems forgotten by the general public. We wanted to run through excellent composers, by works of the highest quality ...

This double combination of art and tact, music and public, took place yesterday in the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, in one of the most important performances planned during the Week of the Music. The attendees, who filled the seats of the enclosure, standed up at the end of this magical event and placed a great ovation in which Ana Maria Valderrama, Luis del Valle and Victor del Valle showed signs of his mastery and virtuosity with a touch of humor and theatricality.

It is a complex and demanding work that requires a great pianist as Luis del Valle, always attentive and alert to his partner but without being noticed as co-protagonist of the evening ... Required collaborator, he spared neither moderation nor pulse.

DUO DEL VALLE: PIANO SYNCHRONIZATION IS ONLY ACHIEVED BEATING EQUALLY

The "Duo del Valle", with their extensive international experience, opens today a project that was recorded in the "Manuel de Falla" to rescue piano duo from oblivion, a little known formation but very amazing to the public.
The album includes some of the most important compositions written for two pianos and some transcriptions from the eighteenth to the twentieth century of composers such as Mozart, Ravel, Gershwin, Ligeti and Lutoslawski, and explore all the expressive possibilities of a piano duo through dialogue, lyricism, intimacy and game, all mixed with virtuosity and spectacular nature.
The synchronization offered by Duo del Valle is only achieved thinking the same way, beating equally in an interpretation with a clear internal musical momentum.
