Diario de Cádiz - Ricardo Olivera Avezuela
Mozart's sonatas for four hand piano are a living example of his concertante style. The one that I am referring to in this article shines in a special way for its elegance and for the interpretive difficulties that the own author took into account. Full of verve and virtuosity, with eighth-note passages of genuine torment, last night's version was splendid. Clear dialogue between the two instruments, precise articulation, tight dynamic gradations, formal coherence, timbre detail, made the work become the pearl of the night.
Diario La Verdad - Octavio de Juan
It was the duo formed by brothers Victor and Luis del Valle, who offered a model performance of the picturesque and attractive Concerto for two pianos by Francis Poulenc. And perhaps it was that familiarity which provided the ideal environment to make this flawless version truly shine in the hands of these two great artists from Malaga, who were forced to offer outside of the program a no less splendid two-piano version of one of the famous dances from Falla's La vida breve

Franz Schubert: Allegro for piano four hands op 144, D947: Lebenstürme
... the version by the already acclaimed duo Del Valle honoured him: dynamic contrasts which led us from daydream to despair made this composition touch us deeply. Victor and Luis del Valle have deservedly won several prizes, also international, and considering their youth, they have a brilliant career ahead.

We were ready for them. And they came with the expected success that goes with them. From that shared joy (between audience and performers) on 31st May 2007 at the Cervantes Theatre, to the performance on Friday at the Canovas Theatre, nearly two years have passed. But the wait to witness a full concert with them was worth it. If by that time, Victor and Luis del Valle showed their piano skills with the tripartite concert by Poulenc, for this occasion the stress laid on an intelligent programming of short, varied, new and unknown works.
